McKinney
McKinney is located in the northeast corner of the DFW metro area. McKinney is the county seat of Collin County. It is located at the confluence of several major highways. US 75, State Hwy 121, and US 380. It is a primarily a bedroom community, but there are several employers located there. The old square where the former County Court House used to be has been transformed into a popular restaurant and shop area. Raytheon, Collin College, Emerson Electric, Medical City McKinney, McKinney National Airport just to name a few. McKinney is home to some of the best golf communities in the State of Texas. Namely, TPC Craig Ranch, Stonebridge Ranch Country Club Golf and The Ranch (Hills Course) and Eldorado Golf Course all located within McKinney.
